I'm not sure how I let this slip my mind, but a monumental achievement occurred in our family a few months ago. Carter is fully potty trained! If you read our most popular post of this year, you probably thought this wouldn't ever happen - I know I had my doubts. But out of the blue, he just decided he was done with diapers. Congratulations, Carter!
Our family is now diaper-free for the first time since Sept 2003, which is a beautiful feeling. But Carter wants us to end the drought. He reminds us (along with anyone within earshot) every day that he can't wait for the baby brother from Mommy's tummy. There's no bun in the oven so I don't know where he got this idea.
Darn, I thought you were making an announcement. :) Congrats on being diaper free. We're hoping Isaac will come through for us sometime this summer.

ReplyDeleteWow, to be out of diapers -- it's going to be another 2 or 3 years for us. But we're down to 2 in diapers now, which is a vast improvement over 3 in diapers (we should know, we've done that twice now).
